Hello! It's been awhile. The holiday season proves to be the busiest time of year for me, and I am finally catching up on updating my shop. I've added two new prints to my store, something I've been meaning to do for a while.
This little mouse reading under a strawberry patch is one of my favorites. I designed the bookmark last year, and I liked it so much I thought that it would make a great print. It's painted using gouache, on Arches Cover paper. It measures 8x10" and I think it would make a great piece to add to a nursery, or a kid's room.
This is the other print that I've added. Again, it started as a bookmark design, and I liked it so much, I made an illustration of it. Again, I used gouache on Arches Cover paper and it measures 8x10." Honestly, I am a little jealous of this little gnome taking time out of her busy day to read a good book.
I hope you all are off to a good start of the new year. I'm not going to lie, it's been a rough start for our country. It's so hard to believe what is going on with ICE and our administration. I mean, I guess it's not so hard to believe when you look at who is the president, but I guess I can't wrap my head around why he's being allowed to do what he's doing. He should be pulled from office and put in jail. What he's done to women and children is abhorrent. The hypocrisy of the Republican Party is beyond. Clinton and Harris warned us, and yet here we are.
Fuck MAGA, Fuck Trump, Fuck ICE and fuck this entire, racist, sexist administration.
