I am offically done with both my Oregon Calendar and Washington Calendar! This is such a huge project for me. I typically start working on both calendars in January, and it takes about 6 months for me to complete both.
The Oregon calendar consists of all new illustrations! With the exception of the Megler Astoria Bridge illustration, which comes from a previous calendar. I really wanted to move on with some new projects, so I called it done, and used that illustration to make up for it. Some of the images I have done in the past, but I love revisiting these scenes and seeing how a new perspective can change the image.
All of the Oregon calendar illustrations are done using gouache paint on Arches Cover paper. So they are all hand drawn and hand painted. I don't use any AI in my artwork. I will be listing the original paintings on my website next week. I'm also making some prints from some of the illustrations, which I will also be listing very soon!

The Washington calendar is done all on my iPad, using Procreate. Procreate is a digital app that allows you to draw and "paint" on the screen. I use a combination of MaxPack brushes in gouache and watercolor. I feel like the watercolor brushes are pretty spot on as far as digital brushes go! The iPad allows me to create two calendars a year. It would take me all year to create 36 brand new illustrations. The beauty of the iPad is that I can work a little faster, while also working on the couch, or outside in the garden.
I should have these available closer to the end of the summer! I will make a big announcement once they're available!
